Defragged

You were built for a purpose.  But that purpose is no more.  Awaiting final obliteration in a robot decommissioning facility, a spark of data ignites through the firewall during a quick reformatting of your memory.  A spark of purpose.  A spark of hope.

Armed with a single memory and a lingering shred of your protocols, you must find the will to adapt, overcome and escape certain destruction.  How you do so is up to you.  

But you know not what memories may resurface.  Know not what dark truths may be revealed.  Know not what you would even do if you escaped.

But perhaps, you will find your purpose once again.

Or perhaps, you will collapse into a pile of circuits and scape.

DEFRAGGED is a narrative-forward TTRPG where one player takes the role of DM and all others take the roles of ROBOTS.  The DM sets the scenes, adjudicates outcomes and provides a rich narrative and setting for the players to explore and tell their own stories.  The ROBOTS must try to escape the DECOMMISSIONING FACILITY, all the while regaining memories that reveal their past, and which may contribute to their salvation... or to their demise.

This game is a one-page TTRPG made for the One-Page RPG Jam 2026.  The rules fit on the front page and a character sheet and map of the decommissioning facility fit on the back page.  The document is designed as a Tri-Fold brochure for easy packing.  All you need to play are two six-sided dice,  paper/pencil and people you'd like to play with.
